Villa Jejia is located in Italy, on the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore, in Solcio di Lesa, a quaint and picturesque village between Arona, Lesa and Stresa. In a unique location, a stone's throw from the gulf and the small harbour and the sunny beaches of Lake Maggiore,
Solcio di Lesa, with its narrow, stepped alleys, invites strollers and intrigues all kinds of visitors, who from the picturesque harbour where luxurious yachts moor can start short itineraries of history and art. Not to be missed, in this sense, is the neoclassical church of San Rocco, with its mosaic on the façade by Giovanni Sgorlon and frescoes by Domenico Induno. Equally fascinating are the churchyard of the Oratory of Sant'Antonio, from which one can enjoy an ecstatic view of the surroundings, and the many villas that populate the village, from Villa Noseda onwards. But staying at Villa Jejia means above all being in front of the waters of Lake Maggiore and just a few kilometres from the many towns overlooking these same waters. To the south, about ten minutes away by car, is the wealthy Arona, the historic seat of the Borromeo family. Just think of the Rocca Borromea and, above all, the famous Colosso di San Carlo: Villa Jejia guests cannot fail to visit the imposing statue, almost 25 metres high. To the north, some ten kilometres away, is the beautiful Stresa with its Borromeo Islands.
The Borromean Islands are 11 km away.
The nearest airport is Milan Malpensa, 48 k
