century, the Palio di Siena is a traditional horse race that takes place on
July 2nd and August 16th in the city of Siena, Italy. Held twice a year in the
Piazza del Campo, the main square of Siena, this race attracts attendees from

The Palio di
Siena is a 90-second race where jockeys, riding bareback, circle Piazza del
Campo three times to cross the finish line first. But it’s more than a
race—it’s a full-blown spectacle steeped in tradition. Preceded by grand
medieval pageantry, the Palio draws crowds from across the globe. With intense
rivalries, daring maneuvers, and the real risk of crashes, victory isn’t just
